Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms support a healthy environment, promote the well-being of workers and their communities and use efficient farm methods. Certification helps to ensure farm workers have safe working conditions, dignified housing, and access to medical care and schools for their children. Certification helps protect ecosystems, including wildlife habitat, water and soil. To learn more about the Rainforest Alliance, visit www.rainforest-alliance.org.
Rainforest Alliance certification prohibits farms from using forced labor or hiring anyone under the age of 15. Farm group administrators work to provide healthcare for workers and access to education for children. Workers are protected from excessive work hours, wage withholding and other exploitative practices.
