Kinnerton's Free from Luxury Chocolate Range
We have been manufacturing (and are continuing to manufacture) our Allergy Free Bars, Easter Eggs and Lollipops which are labelled Nut Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free and Gluten Free. We will continue to offer these items as Nut Free, Dairy Free etc. I assume you will be asking why Kinnerton can call these bars “Free From” and not our standard ranges, which will simply have the Nut Safety Promise?
The reason is that we will be making the ‘Free From’ ranges in finite batches 2 or 3 times a year and we will thoroughly test for all allergens before, during and after manufacture. When the tests come back several days after production, we ‘positively release’ this special production batch of chocolates on to the Market Place so that we KNOW that we have tested the complete batch. For normal production of the tens of millions of Nut Free products we produce each year on our 6 Nut Segregated production lines, we simply cannot test and positively release everything, rather we now test for both protein and DNA where necessary via a structured weekly testing regime.
The delicious bar is ideal for cooking cakes and desserts, and is currently available in selected Sainsbury, Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose stores, RSP £1.19.
The 4 pack of Chocolate Lollies are a great snack to enjoy, and are available to buy in selected Sainsbury's and Morrisons stores, RSP £1.49.
Finally, the Luxury Dark Chocolate after Dinner Mints are a perfect after dinner treat that satisfies any sweet tooth. These are available to buy in selected Asda, Morrisons and Tesco stores, RSP: £2.99
Kinnerton does not normally sell its goods directly to members of the public but in this instance we recognise the special needs of the audience for this chocolate range. However, this does mean that the product will only be available in boxes containing either 24 x 100g bars, 30 x 50g lollies, or 12 x 120g After Dinner Mints. The products will have a shelf life of 18 months from production of the chocolate, as long as they are kept in cool conditions they can be kept safely until used for cooking or eating.

The Cocoa Deli range of products is being developed to include chocolates which may or may not contain nuts, however the Cocoa Deli Lolly Truffle is made in the NUT FREE SIDE of our Factory and is suitable for Nut Allergy Suffers.
