The Fakenham site specialises in both moulding and enrobing chocolate, it has the capability to do these in milk, plain and white chocolate. For moulding Kinnerton can offer shell moulded, booked moulded or one shot technology. We are also manufacture advent calendars and Easter eggs; which are both manufactured in a nut free environment.
The plant can enrobe products with a number of finishes, with centres extruded through a new line.
The Sherburn site is a dragee site specialising in chocolate and sugar dragee on fruit, nuts and chocolate centres, offering milk, plain and white chocolate coatings. It also has the capabilities to drop roll products in milk chocolate offering a variety of sizes and shapes. These products can be foiled, bagged in both pillow our sharing bags, netted and cartoned.
Allergen management is very important to Kinnerton and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with reliable and consistent information about the allergens in our products. We maintain a live allergen risk assessment at each of our manufacturing sites and use this to generate our detailed product specifications. A number of allergens are handled across our production sites and we have stringent controls in place to store and handle them. Where, due to manufacturing conditions we are unable to prevent the risk of allergen cross contamination, we will label our finished products accordingly.
